Sharon and al-Beshara church

Sources at the divan of the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon said on Friday that the US President George Bush asked the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon during their meeting in Washington to interfere to prevent the building of a mosque at Shehab Eddine position in al-Nasera that hides the al-Beshara church to be seen.
The Israeli radio on Friday quoted these sources as saying that Bush raised this issue after the Catholic church appealed him to interfere to this effect. Sharon promised to study this matter.
