Morocco attends conference on child in Libya

The Moroccan association of assistance to childhood and family is taking part in an Arab conference on childhood legislation held in Tripoli, Libya, March 21-23.
The conference, that is assessing national legal texts on childhood and their conformity with international conventions, will make proposals likely to help Arab states adapt these texts to the international conventions.
A charter on children's rights is on the agenda of the Arab summit scheduled for March 27-28 in Amman, Jordan, head of the childhood department at the Arab league, Abla Mahmoud Ibrahim, who is attending the Tripoli conference said.
The Moroccan delegation will make a presentation on children's rights between international conventions and local legislation: the case of Morocco.
