Saudi Arabia, Qatar sign border- demarcation agreement

The foreign ministers of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasem al-Thani and prince saud al-Faisal respectively on Wednesday in Doha signed the agreement on final border demarcation between the two countries. Both Sheikh Hamad and prince al-Faisal signed geographical maps and written documents relating to 60 Km. of land and sea borders.
On June 7,1999 Saudi Arabia and Qatar signed maps provided for the final demarcation of joint borders, prepared by a joint technical committee.
