FAO's director general arrived in Damascus

The director general of the World Food and Agriculture organization FAO Jacques Dayouf arrived in Damascus on Wednesday evening in a visit which lasts for three days.
At the Damascus airport, FAO's chief was welcomed by the minister of agriculture Asaad Mustafa, high ranking officials concerned, the director of FAO's office in Damascus and the UNDP resident representative in Damascus Tawfiq Bin Amara.
