Increase of German tourist's influx to Egypt despite recent Luxor accident

Regional manager of German airlines Lufthansa F. Hessen stressed the increase of German tourists' influx to Egypt despite the recent accident in Luxor.

He termed the accident as an individual act with no political or security motives.

In statement in a Press conference at a Cairo-based hotel Hessen stressed the well-grounded relations between Egypt and Germany in different fields.

He voiced his government's appreciation for the way adopted by Egypt to control the accident.

The German officials stressed also that Lufthansa had raised their capacity with 40 per cent due to the growing interest shown to Egypt as a tour Mecca.

He pointed out that Germany has already ranked the first in world markets in the number of tourists going to Egypt.
