Rulers of Qatar, Bahrain discuss the future of bilateral relations

The ruler of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani on Tuesday discussed with the Ruler of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al-Khaleifa, who arrived earlier in the day in Doha the future of the Qatari- Bahraini relations, after the release of the sentence of the International Court of Justice to end border disputes between the two countries.

The ruler of Bahrain stressed his country's welcome and acceptance of this " sentence" which will open a new page in relations between the two countries and give a greater chance for further co-operation and co-ordination in all fields and at all levels.

Sheikh Hamad described this " sentence" as a historical victory for Qatar and Bahrain, noting that it is considered a gain for the two states and a starting point for further joint work and activities in a spirit of sincere determination and brotherhood to meet all ambitions and set objectives inspired by the two sisterly peoples.

He expressed his thanks for the ruler of Qatar over the good feelings he showed towards Bahrain, stressing Bahrain's looking forward and permanent care to consolidate prospects of joint c-operation with Qatar for serving brotherly relations.
