Trade contracts between Iraq and Saudi Arabia

An Iraqi official said on Tuesday that Iraq signed in the mid of March new trade agreements with Saudi companies at a cost of USD 600 million to import commodities in the framework of the oil-for-food program.
The Iraqi weekly al-Rafeydeen ( the two tributaries ) said that the director general of the foreign economic relations department at the Iraqi ministry of commerce Fakher Eddine Reisan explained that these contracts were signed in the framework of the 9th phase of the said program and in implementation of the central directives of the government on giving top priority in trade and economic relations with the Arab states.
