Saudi special forces end Russian plane highjacking

The operation of breaking into the Russian plane which was high-jacked by Chechenian from Turkey to al-Madina al-Mounawara in Saudi Arabia on Thursday resulted in killing one high-jacker while a lady was found killed by the high-jackers during the breaking in carried out by the terrorism- fighting team of the Saudi Arabian special forces during which all hostages were freed and the situation was fully controlled.

An official source at the Saudi ministry of the Interior said that the operation was completed successfully and the high-jackers were arrested and all passengers and the crew of the plane were freed.

He indicated that the operation was decided after the negotiation process with the high-jackers reached a deadlock.
