More British detained in Saudi Arabia

British news reports said on Friday that the Saudi authorities have secretly arrested other five British citizens in the framework of the current investigations in the case of smuggling alcoholic drinks in Saudi Arabia

The British daily " the Times" said that number of British held in Saudi Arabia under charges of trading in alcohol reached 8 persons and quoted British diplomats as saying that all these British detainees are held in separate cells.

The British " The Guardian " daily said that the British officials fear the increase in the campaign of explosions which target foreigners especially the British in Saudi Arabia following the explosion which took place in from of a library in the downtown of al-Riyadh on Thursday evening and the wounding of two persons one of them is Briton.
