Iraq pardons 27 Iranian prisoners

The Iraqi President on Thursday pardoned 27 Iranian prisoners who are hailed under various crimes.
The spokesman for the Iraqi foreign ministry said that this Iraqi measure expresses Iraq's good intention and the real desire to deal with and close all files including the questions of the war prisoners, missing, the refugees and the remains of the war victims.
The Iraqi spokesman added that the Iranians covered by the Amnesty were released and handed to the Iranians through the al-Manzereyah border point with Iran under the supervision of the International Committee of the Red Cross ICRC.
