Supreme water and climate council postpones 9th session

The Moroccan supreme council on water and climate has postponed its 9th session that was initially scheduled for March 19-20.
A statement by the equipment ministry said the session will be held shortly.
The session debates will focus on water scarcity management and meteorology strategy and national concerns and will be attended by renowned Moroccan and foreign experts.
The council was set up in 1981. Its 8th session was held in 1994.
The supreme council on water and climate, placed under the aegis of the King, seeks to involve elected representatives, socio-professional organizations, administrations and public sectors in defining water-related orientations and in decision making on the country's water policy.
