Israeli ambassador to return back to Amman
Jordan-Israel, Politics, 3/15/2001
The Jordanian weekly al-Sabeel in its recent issue quoted well-informed sources as saying that the Israeli ambassador in Amman will return back to his office by the beginning of April.
The Israeli ambassador and a huge number of embassy staff and its diplomats left Amman during the first months of al-Aqsa Intifada after two of its member staffs were exposed to fire bullets from un- identified persons, while Jordan postponed the process of sending its ambassador to israel in October in protest against the Zionist " terrorism and acts of violence against the Palestinian people.
