Mouth and Foot disease in the UAE

The United Arab Emirates has discovered 8 " Mouth and Foot disease" cases among imported cows but it could contain the spread of the disease.
In statements issued on Wednesday by the UAR daily al-Khaleij the UAE minister of agriculture and fishery Saeed Muhammad al-Raqbani said that the first cases of " mouth and feet disease " were discovered among imported cows but so far the country of origin is not known yet.
He explained that the ministry has taken all measures to prevent the spread of this infectious disease in the UAE which imports most of its needs of cattle, noting that any cattle imports now need official consent from the ministry.
