Mubarak, Ramadan to visit Russia very soon

Press news confirmed that the Russian President Vladimir Putin has agreed with the Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak in a telephone call that Mubarak's visit to Moscow will be during the first half of this year.

The Russian news agency Inter-fax said that the two Presidents took this decision during telephone conversation during which they exchanged view points on Russian- Egyptian relations and the situation in the region.

Worthy mentioning that the Egyptian president visited Moscow for the first time in September 1997.

For its part, Iraqi sources said that the Iraqi vice- President Taha Yassin Ramadan will shortly visit Russia at the invitation he had received from Kremlin.
