African bank delegation meets Moroccan officials

A delegation from the Abidjan-based African Development Bank met in Rabat on Monday with Moroccan premier, Abderrahmane Youssoufi and equipment minister, Bouamour Taghouane, AfricanNews.com reported today.
The report said "Talks covered the institution-financed projects in Morocco and the Moroccan ongoing economic and social reforms, as well as efforts to alleviate poverty in rural areas and modernize infrastructure."
Youssoufi called the Bank to formulate a financial product for the private sector and create mechanisms to finance small and medium scale enterprises, AfricanNews.com said.
The report added that the bank executives who are touring north African countries said Morocco is a model in Africa in matters of policies to address social and economic problems.
