Arab summit's delegations accommodation and cost

Well-informed Jordanian sources said on Monday that the Meridian hotel in the downtown of Amman will be the venue for convening the meetings of the Arab summit and the residence for many Arab leaders after a royal court and special arrangements were added to it.
The hotels of Jordan, Marriott, Regency, Radison Sass, and Grand Hayat were dedicated for the delegations accompanying the Arab leaders.
The sources said the Arab foreign ministers will convene on March 24 and 25 their preparatory meetings for the summit at the royal cultural center and that the summit' s press center will be at the sport city complex.
Meantime, Jordanian governmental sources said that total costs for convening the coming Arab summit to be held in Amman by the end of this month will cost $ 10-11 million.
These sources told journalists in Amman on Monday that the Jordanian ministry of finance has so far did not receive any Arab " cash " aids to cover the spending of this summit, but added that Jordan will receive 100 private cars to transport the delegations of the summit as a gift from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The sources said the costs cover spending of hosing the leaders and their accompanying delegation, the journalists and renewal of the Jordanian infrastructure of public utilities and Buildings and streets in Amman.
