Three people die in bus accident in Rabat

A bus overturned this Saturday morning near the beach of Rabat, killing at least three people and injuring 33 other passengers, including three who suffered serious injuries.

The bus driver succeeded, however, in avoiding a dive in the sea.

The Moroccan police said in a statement, a total of 16 people died and 912 others were injured in various traffic accidents recorded in urban centers between February 26 and March 4.

The statement said while the number of people who died in road accidents slightly decreased by 5.88%, compared to the previous week, body injuries were higher (2.93%).
