Iraq-Regional, Politics, 3/10/2001
The Paris based al-Muharrir news weekly said on Friday that well-informed sources stressed that there are three Arab states that are collectively making efforts at Baghdad in order to make the Iraqi President attend the forthcoming Arab summit in Amman.
The circles added that the uncovered contacts so far made stated that the Iraqi President is inclined to take part in the works of the summit and that he will not be hesitant to call for convening the forthcoming Arab summit in Baghdad. A matter which indicates that he is ready to end differences arising between him and each of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
