A new private monthly to be licensed in Syria

The London- based al-Zamaan ( Times ) paper said on Friday that the secretary general of the democratic national party Karim al-Shebani stressed he had submitted an application to the Syrian minister of information Adnan Omran in which he asked for licensing a monthly magazine under the name of " Qasyoun."
Al-Shebani added he will not wait until his party joins the national progressive front officially in order his magazine to be released.
