Beirut hosts conference on investment opportunities in Arab world

Beirut plays host April 8-11 to a conference on investment opportunities in Arab states.
The event, sponsored by the Lebanese economic forum "Annadwa al-Iktissadiya," features an exhibition on companies specialized in financing real estate projects or other financial services.
Some 800 Arab businessmen are expected to participate in the conference.
The Lebanese capital is also hosting this March 15-16 a conference of Arab insurers that will be attended by some 300 delegates of major insurance companies in the Arab world.
The conference will debate insurance prospects in the Arab world, insurance control, insurance-related laws and relationship between banks and insurance companies.
