Central bank reserves reached $ 5.01 billion in 2000

Morocco's central bank "Bank Al-Maghrib" reserves reached 52.65 billion DH in 2000 ($ 5.01 billion), dropping by 10.6% compared to 1999. The exchange office said despite the regression, the reserves are enough to cover six months of imports.
