Damascus: Ministerial reshuffle a must necessitated by march of development and modernization

Well-informed Syrian sources linked between the expected ministerial reshuffle and the march of modernization and development in the country led by President Bashar al-Assad.

The sources said that the change will target new and old faces in the Cabinet of the prime minister Muhammad Mustafa Miro, faces who failed to prove capability to perform and others who misused their posts for personal purposes.

The sources added that the formation of the reshuffled government will include members at the ruling Baath Party, parties of the national progressive front, independents, new political aggregations who represent all Syrian political trends.

The sources did not rule out that the ministerial reshuffle will be preceded by a Baath party amendment at the level of the party's central committee and the regional leadership as a preliminary measure.

Concerning names stated by the media as to be changed, the sources added that these rumors are just hearsay and the matter has not been settled yet, adding that the higher political leadership in the reference which has the say will decide the amount of change, its timing and persons.

On the other hand, the Baath Party which celebrates today ( Thursday) its 38th anniversary of the March revolution of 1963 which marked its ascending to power in Syria, has set an aim stated to renew its vitality so as to be able to make economic reforms but under the condition to maintain the country's stability.
