A meeting for the foreign ministers of the GGC

Diplomatic sources in the Qatari capital Doha have asserted that the ministerial council of the Gulf Co-operation Council GCC will hold a meeting on March 17 and 18 at the level of foreign ministers. The sources stressed this meeting is of special importance because it precedes the convening of the periodical Arab summit due to be held in Jordan on March 27 in Amman.
The sources said that the GCC foreign ministers will discuss during the meeting a united GCC stand towards issues debated on the Arab summit, especially the Kuwaiti- Iraqi file and the efforts aiming at bringing the two countries ' together and the efforts also aiming at bringing Iraq back to the Arab rank.
The participants in the meeting will also deal with means of dealing with the aggressive intentions of the coalition government of Ariel Sharon besides other several items including the " security belt among the GCC armies." SANA.
