Jordan cancels Eid celebrations in solidarity with the Palestinians

Jordan has canceled its this year's celebrations of Eid al- Adha due to the prevailing conditions in the occupied Arab territories in solidarity with the families of al-Aqsa Intifada "martyrs ."
The Jordanian royal court on Sunday issued a statement to this effect saying that Eid al-Adha's celebrations will be confined this year only to prayers and there will be no program to offer congratulations to King Abdullah II on this occasion.
