Jordan will not return back its ambassador to Tel Aviv
Jordan-Israel, Politics, 3/7/2001

Well-informed sources in Jordan said that Amman " will not send back its ambassador to Israel until the siege imposed on the Palestinians is lifted, suspension of acts of killing and besiege on the Palestinians and returning back to the table of negotiations." The sources indicated that Israel asked the US to pressure Jordan to send back its ambassador to Tel Aviv, at the request of the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon conveyed by the US secretary of state Colin Powell during his recent visit to Jordan.
