Bush to meet with the Jordanian King after meeting with Mubarak

The Egyptian foreign minister has discussed with the US ambassador in Cairo Daniel Kertzers, arrangements for the visit to be held by the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to the US in April and his meeting with the US President George Bush on April 2nd.

Following the meeting the US ambassador said that the meeting dealt with other several issues of mutual interests including the Iraqi question and bilateral relations.

He added that he had also discussed results of the tour held by the US secretary of state Colin Powel to Egypt and the region.

On the US administration's expected contacts with other Arab capitals, the US ambassador added that there are arrangements to also convene a meeting between President Bush and the Jordanian King Abdullah II in Washington in the second week following Mubarak's visit to the US. The US ambassador added that he conveyed a message of congratulations from Powel to Mousa on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
