Former Syrian information minister statement to al-Sharq al-Awsat
In its Saturday's issue, the London- based al-Sharq al-Awsat said published an article written by former Syrian minister of information Muhammad Salman under the title: " The Syrian intellectuals and the open dialogue," in which he stressed that the peaceful transfer of authority in Syria had its own objective reasons which are interrelated to factors characterized Syria's solidarity.

A Moroccan trucker was sentenced last week to an 18-month jail sentence and a 10,000 DH fine for drug possession and trafficking, judiciary sources said. The culprit was also ordered to pay the customs and indirect taxes authority 2.35 million DH. The state seized the truck and vegetables load.
