Moroccan trucker gets 18 month-jail sentence for drug trafficking

A Moroccan trucker was sentenced last week to an 18-month jail sentence and a 10,000 DH fine for drug possession and trafficking, judiciary sources said. The culprit was also ordered to pay the customs and indirect taxes authority 2.35 million DH. The state seized the truck and vegetables load.
Lemfedel Abdeslam Bahri was arrested on February 24 as he was carrying 26 kilograms of chira hidden in his Spain-registered truck.
