Price increase for various commodities in Jordan

The Jordanian government has increased the prices of several imported items included Tobacco, beer, alcohol, certain electrical sets, women and men clothing, perfumes, car tires and services of tourists offices and hotels.
The commissioner of customs and revenues at the special economic department Ahmad al- Refai said that this increase reached 175% for tobacco cigarettes, while an increase of one Jordanian dinar was exposed on each liter of alcohol and wines and half a dinar on each liter of beer and 7% on the electrical equipment, car tires, perfumes, women cosmetics, women and men wear and services of the tourism offices and hotels.
