Morocco-UAE ties stable, solid, diplomat
United Arab Emirates-Morocco, Politics, 3/3/2001
Relations between Morocco and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are "stable and solid" said Moroccan ambassador to the UAE, Abdellah Azmani.
The two states' leaders have the merit to build bilateral relations on strong foundations, the diplomat said.
King Mohammed VI will start this Saturday a friendship visit to the Arab Gulf country.
According to Azmani, Morocco and the UAE intend to give a strong impetus to their cooperation, through reinforcing dialogue and contacts between their economic operators.
The diplomat deplored the weakness of trade exchanges between the two states, imputing this weakness to the lack of a direct and regular sea line.
