Al-Shara briefs Lebanese counterpart on results of Powell's visit to Syria

The Syrian foreign minister Farouk al-Shara on Thursday made a telephone call with his Lebanese counterpart Mahmoud hammoud during which he ( al-Shara ) informed him ( hammoud0 on the results of the visit made by the US secretary of state Colin Powel to damascus and the talks he had held with President Bashar al-Assad.
The two ministers made consultations on several matters relating to the meetings of the Arab league in preparation for the forthcoming Arab summit due to be held in Amman by the end of this month.
