French Vivendi wins water, electricity management contract in Tangiers

French group Vivendi Universal won a contract for the management of water and electricity in the northern city of Tangiers for a 25-year period.
Vivendi offers to invest 4.3 billion DH (US$ 409,5 Mln) in exchange for the cession of water and electricity services in the city. More than half of this amount will go to sanitation facilities.
Vivendi was bidding together with four other firms.
The French group had also won a bid to buy 35% of Maroc-Telecom capital for $ 2.33 billion.
