Mubarak opens physiotheraby, rehabilitation centre

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak opened today an armed forces medical center for physiotherapy and physical rehabilitation and rheumatism in Aguza.

The President was received upon his arrival by Minister of Defense Field Marshal Mohammad Hussein Tantawi, Director of the Center and a number of officials.

Attending the opening ceremony were Prime Minister Atef Ebeid and Ministers of Information, Inferior, Agriculture and of Economy.

The Center Director escorted President Mubarak in a tour through the Center which was constructed by the Armed Forces on 34.000 square meters plot of land.

President Mubarak watched a documentary on the Center and its infrastructure and the number of buildings and clinics affiliated to it.

The Center includes new departments such as integrated x-rays and developed dental clinics as well as a section for children with special needs.

It also includes a research Center provided with the most up-to-date technology and an Internet room, in addition to a gymnasium allowing the disabled to practice different sports.
