Al-Hariri and Chirac meet

The French President Jacques Chirac on Tuesday in Paris met with the Lebanese Prime minister Rafiq al-Hariri and officials at the World bank (WB) and the European Commission.
The meeting was attended by the WB chairman James Wolfensohn, the EC chief Romano Prodi and the French minister of the economy.
Al-Hariri who arrived on Monday evening in Paris is accompanies by the finance minister Fuad al-Sanyoura and the minister of the economy Bassel Fleihan.
During the meeting, al-Hariri reviewed the measures set by his government to revive the Lebanese economy and to put an end to the economic crisis and the public debts.
