King Mohammed ends visit to Bahrain

Morocco's King Mohammed VI was guest on Sunday to a private dinner hosted in his honor by the Emir of Bahrain, Sheikh Hamad Ben Aissa Al Khalifa.
The king, who paid on Sunday a visit to Manama, left the Arab capital this Monday on his way to India, first leg of tour in a number of countries.
The Bahraini media quoted the Emir as saying that the king's visit comes to confirm the special historical ties between the two Arab states.
Sheikh Hamad Ben Aissa Al Khalifa also praised the King's role in supporting Arab and Islamic causes and his efforts for the development of Morocco.
The media also noted that during their talks on Sunday, King Mohammed VI congratulated the Bahraini head of state on the adoption by popular referendum of "the national action charter" and the popular support enjoyed by initiatives of political, economic and social modernization, confirming the existing symbiosis between the Bahraini people and leadership.
According to the media, the two heads of state also reviewed bilateral relations and means to consolidate them in various fields. Likewise, talks covered issues pertaining to the Gulf region, the Arab states, the international situation and other topics of common interest.
