Syrian- Jordanian al-Wahda dam project proceeds well

The Jordanian minister of Planning Jawad Hadid stressed that there is a complete Syrian- Jordanian agreement on proceeding forward in al-Wahda dam project on al-Yarmouk river which is of a total cost of USD 210 million.
In a statement to the Jordanian daily al-Arab al-Youm published on Sunday, the Jordanian minister added that high ranking Jordanian officials have recently visited Damascus and held successful talks, at all levels, especially in regard to the technical issues, pertinent to al-Wahda dam project.
