Arab parliamentary union council meeting in Emirates

The meeting of the 38th session of the council of the Arab Parliamentary Union, due Feb. 25-26 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates will study several issues pertaining to the role of Arab MPs in backing the Palestinian Intifada (Uprising), the settlement of inter-Arab conflicts through peaceful means and the establishment of an Arab common market.
Dialogue with regional and international parliamentary organizations and the Arab participation in the 105th congress of the international Parliamentary Union, due next spring in La Havana, are also on the agenda of the Abu Dhabi meeting.
