Iraqi- Tunisia free trade zone

Iraq's vice President Taha Yassin Ramadan discusses in Tunisia means of developing and expanding Iraqi- Tunisian cooperation in various fields.

An Iraqi source said that Ramadan who arrived in Tunisia will discuss during his visit the question of signing an agreement for free trade exchange similar to the two agreements he signed in January with Syria and Egypt.

Ramadan's visit to Tunisia came while Iraq is seeking to get the support of the Arab states over its position following the British- American raids against Iraq last week and raised a wave of protest on the Arab and international arenas.

Meantime, an Iraqi Parliamentary source said that the chairman of the Iraqi national council will after he stops in Damascus visit Abu Dhabi where he will take part in the in the 38th session of the Arab parliamentary Union which will start tomorrow ( Saturday).

Meantime, the Iraqi foreign minister Muhammad Saeed al- Sahaf will shortly head for New York to represent Iraq at the dialogue session with the UN.
