Prince of Bahrain to visit Moscow

The ruler of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al-Khaleifa will pay an official visit to Russia on March 19 which is the first in the history of relations between the two countries. Diplomatic sources in Moscow said on Thursday that the ruler of Bahrain will discuss during this visit which will last for two days with the Russian President Vladimir Putin and the foreign minister Igor Ivanov means of developing bilateral relations in various fields as well as discussing the situation in the Gulf region and Iraq and recent developments in the ME peace process.
Worthy mentioning that Moscow and al-Manama held their diplomatic relations in September 1990.
