Syrian Premier receives delegations of Shell company; German parliament and Swiss chamber of commerce

Syrian prime minister Muhammad Mustafa Miro on Thursday received the chairman of the Swiss- Arab chamber of commerce and industry, the chamber's secretary general Ateyah Amin and members of the accompanying delegation.
The meeting was attended by the Swiss ambassador in Damascus and officials concerned.
Talks dealt with means of strengthening cooperation relations and developing them in economic, trade areas, in encouraging investment and revitalizing the role played by investors and businessmen for the interests of Syria and Switzerland.
In the meeting with the German parliamentary delegation talks dealt with fields of economic, trade and cultural relations between the two countries and means of promoting and boosting bilateral investments in the two countries.
On Thursday evening Miro met with the director of excavation and production department at Shell company Dean Megat and discussed with him developing co-operation in the fields of gas and oil production and issues relating to training and qualification of cadres working in this regard.
