Algerian president returns from tripartite African summit

Algerian President Abdul Aziz Butaflika arrived back in Algiers on Wednesday at dawn after he took part in the tripartite African summit which brought him together on Tuesday with his two counterparts in South Africa and Nigeria.
The three Presidents who met on Tuesday evening with the director general of the International Monetary Fund and the director of the World Bank had ratified the program known " an initiative for partnership for African renewal," which is a sort of a Marshal plan designed especially for Africa, The three Presidents proposed their plan to both the IMF and WB chiefs for financing.
The Africa's Marshal plan aims at implementing an industrial strategy on Africa and adapting investment, especially in sectors relating to the sectors of technology, communications and developing industrial structures in the areas of transport, energy, establishing peace and stability and a democratic rule system.
In its recent summit, the African Unity Organization has authorized the three Presidents to deal with the African debts and to interfere at certain commissions to discuss and finance development projects in the African countries.
