Lebanese delegation visits Iraq
Lebanon-Iraq, Economics, 2/22/2001

A large Lebanese economic delegation chaired by the minister of the economy and commerce Bassel Fleihan will on Saturday start a visit to Iraq during which it will hold talks with the Iraqi officials. The Lebanese delegation will attend a specialized Lebanese exhibition organized for the four running years in Baghdad.

The director of the Lebanese exhibition Tareq Maaen said the Lebanese delegation includes the chairman of the Lebanese industrialists association and the representatives of main Lebanese companies and economic establishments.

Maaen added that another delegation including 200 representatives for Lebanese industrial and trade companies will also arrive in Baghdad in a date he did not fix via land on the occasion of this exhibition which will be open next Sunday and organized by the Lebanese industrial marketing company since 1997 in Baghdad.
