Arafat to visit Syria within the two coming days

The United Arab Emirates UAE daily al-Bayan quoted Syrian sources as saying that the chairman of the Palestinian Authority will visit Damascus during the two coming days. The said sources told the paper that the efforts exerted since weeks to arrange for this visit had attained its fruit especially in light of the grave developments in the Peace process and Sharon's ascending to power in Israel.
