Syrian premier confers with Iraqi trade minister

Syrian prime minister Muhammad Mustafa Miro on Thursday evening received the Iraqi trade minister Muhammad Mahdi Saleh. Talks dealt with means of strengthening cooperation relations in the economic and trade fields, encouraging joint investments between the public and the private sector for the interests of the two sisterly countries and peoples.
Present at the meeting were the minister of the economy and foreign trade Muhammad al-Imadi and the chairman of the Iraqi office of interest in Damascus Rifat al-Ani.
