Barak agrees to have the Israeli defense ministry in Sharon's government

The Israeli resigned prime minister Ehud Barak on Thursday agreed to the proposal made by the Israeli prime minister Elect Ariel Sharon to have the post of the war minister in the new israeli government.
The Israeli TV said that persons close to Barak said that he had decided to approve to have the defense ministry at the new Israeli government.
At the night of his election as a prime minister on February 6 Sharon asked Barak to keep his post as a war minister in the next Israeli government.
