Syrian conditions for Arafat's visit to Damascus

In a message from Damascus, the Lebanese daily al-Nahar said on Tuesday that the chairman of the Palestinian Salvation front Khaled al- Fahoum talked about the existence of four Syrian conditions to complete Arafat's visit to Damascus.
Al-Fahoum explained that these conditions are commitment to the international legitimacy resolutions, the return back of the Palestinian refugees, the establishment of the Palestinian states with Jerusalem as a capital and the continuity of the Intifada.
Al-Fahoum said that the accession of Sharon to the post of the prime minister in Israel had made the Syrian- Palestinian understanding as an urgent must.
