Al-Assad arrives in Bahrain
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad arrived in al-Manama today in a visit to Bahrain. At the airport he was welcomed by the ruler of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al-Khaleifa, the crown prince and commander of the Bahraini general force Sheikh Salman Bin Hamad al-Khaleifa and Sheikh Muhammad Bin Salman al-Khaleifa.

Two Palestinians killed, 95 wounded by the Israeli bullets
The Palestinian youths Zeyad Abu Sawa ( 20 year old) was killed by the Israeli occupation forces. Another Palestinian youth was wounded in Bethlehem. The Palestinian youth Atif al-Nabulsi (35) was killed near Ramullah. He is from Jerusalem and the Israeli army refused to hand over his body.

No nominations for the post of the AL Secretary General
The Arab league on Sunday denied to have received any nominations from Yemen or any other Arab state for the post of the secretary general of the Arab League. This denial was made after the Yemeni deputy premier and the foreign minister Abdul Qader Bajmal announced the nomination of the former prime minister Muhammad al-Aini to the post of the AL secretary general.
