Yemeni officials ambushed by a tribe

An official Yemen delegation including several Yemeni officials including one minister and one governor were exposed to a fire in West Yemen in an ambush implanted by one of the Yemeni tribes.
News reports quoted security sources in Yemen as saying on Monday that the procession which included the minister of supplies and commerce Abdul Aziz al-Kamim, and the governor of al-Mahoweit Abdul Hamid Numaan were on Monday afternoon exposed to a fire launched from an ambush implanted by armed men from al-Sharif tribe in " Hijrit al-Dawagher " district in al- Mahoweit province, 100 Km to the west of Sanaa after the two officials had returned back from inaugurating a water project in the area.
The same sources did not explain whether there were casualties.
