New chiefs for Banque Populaire and airports office

Morocco's King Mohammed VI appointed on Thursday Noureddine Omari, chairman and managing director of La Banque Populaire.
Omari was holding the position of secretary general of the ministry of economy and finance.
The appointment ceremony at the Marchan palace in Tangier was attended by minister of economy, finance, privatization and tourism, Fathallah Oualalou.
The sovereign also appointed Mohamed Amal Guedira general manager of the national airports office (ONDA).
Guedira, who was director of the ground assistance department at the Moroccan carrier, Royal Air Maroc, will replace retiring Ahmed Biaz at the head of the ONDA.
ONDA which manages airports in Morocco had participated in the construction of the Palestinian airport of Gaza and had been approached to renovate the Leopold Sedar Senghor international airport of Dakar.
Minister of transport and merchant navy, Abdeslam Znined, attended the appointment ceremony.
