Annan, Bin Yahya discuss international issues

The Un Secretary General Kofi Annan has received the Tunisian foreign minister al-Habin Bin Yahya and discussed with him international issues submitted at the agenda of the UN security council, which Tunisia presides for this month, February.
During the meeting Annan welcomes Tunisia's concentration on dealing with the deep roots of conflicts, including poverty. Annan also expressed interest in the initiative made by the Tunisian President Zein al-Abidin Bin Ali to establish a World Fund for solidarity. He, in this regard, stressed the determination of the international organization to continue its efforts to implement this leading project.
Tunisia's representative stressed upon presiding over an open meeting for the UN Security Council on Wednesday stressed that need that the council will push efforts of the international group to assert commitment to use necessary materials for the establishment of peace.
